Every vehicle is different: we have a variety of packages to best fit each vehicle's needs. Some may only need a simple wash and wax, while others may require several hours to fully restore them to normal. Our packages start at $60.00 and increase depending on services.
This question has two answers:
On one side, you have very inexperienced people who claim to be professional detailers who charge an exorbitantly low price to coerce unsuspecting customers to choose them when theyt lack the skill, expertise and knowledge on how to do things correctly, or simply don’t care. They’re here to make some quick cash and move onto something else in a few months or years. Every year several newcomers come into the detailing industry and quickly make a bad name for themselves because of their terrible work and they soon disappear. They offer a very low price to coerce people to choose them over the higher priced companies, claiming they offer the same services. Many people are fooled by this and later regret their poor decision when their vehicle is damaged.
Several other “Bait & Switch” detailers in the area have been known to falsely claim their prices are lower by offering a detail package at a low price, then tacking on several additional services often doubling or tripling the original price. These “add on” services are all included in our Absolute Detail package. There are no “hidden” up charges or additional fees involved with us. We believe a true Full detail package is a bumper to bumper detail service where nothing is left out.
There are many variables to consider; condition of paint, color of paint, local environmental conditions, method of washing, type of wax, and the number of hours exposed to outside conditions. If the car is stored outside; it may be wise to have it waxed three to four times a year. If the car is always covered or in a garage; two to three times a year may be sufficient. The sun and heat in Florida play a major part in the deterioration of a vehicle's interior and exterior.
You should at least get your leather seats cleaned and conditioned every month. If it has been more than a month since the leather has been conditioned, the leather seats are being starved of vital nutrients that they require. Without proper care, frequent use of the leather will eventually lead to unsightly deterioration and cracking of the seats.
A polish is more like a paint conditioner that restores valuable oils to the paint, eliminating fine scratches and oxidation, creating a high gloss not possible with waxes. Compared to light color vehicles, dark color vehicles tend to show a dramatic difference in depth. An application of a polish should be followed by a coat of wax to protect the shine and extend the paint’s life.
Swirl marks are actually microscopic scratches in the finish. Swirls are often caused by the use of a buffer with the wrong type of polishing pad and/or wax or polish, or an inexperienced user. Automatic car washes can also cause swirls. Swirl marks especially prevalent on later model vehicles with clear coat paints. Moderate to deep swirl marks require surface prep and polish.
Oxidation is the deterioration of a vehicle’s finish primarily caused by Ultraviolet Rays from our sun; more common of gel coat finishes like boats and RV’s. This dull, chalky substance is simply the outer layer of the vehicle’s finish beginning to die; much like a person’s dead skin cells. Normally, the oxidation can be removed with machine polishing and the right type of polish or compound.
Water spots are mineral deposits that have etched their way into the paint, usually coming from sprinkles, or other sources of hard-water. When a drop of water evaporates, all the minerals contained in that water remain on the paint. If the spots are allowed to dry and bake on, they can attach and harden in your paint. The etching is a gradual process, but if not corrected can cause permanent damage.
This wax is extracted from the leaf of a palm tree, Copernicia cerifera, native to Brazil. Carnauba palms grow in places most other plants can't survive, as they're able to endure long periods of heat and drought. Carnauba wax has the highest-melting point and is the hardest natural wax known. It is this quality in the wax that helps protect your paint from UV rays and other environmental damage.
Polymer sealant differs from normal carnauba wax in the way it is made, and the protection it offers. While carnauba wax is natural, coming from Brazilian trees; polymer is synthetic and created in a laboratory. Polymers offer the longest known protection available, creating not only a brilliant shine, but also a protective coating that provides protection up to 6 months longer than Carnauba wax. This product is highly recommended for vehicles that only see wax once a year, or are driven daily.
